Interests and inspiration

Dóra Kristín has always had a strong connection to the nature. She loves the nature of Iceland, the animals, and especially the birds, which often become the main characters in her art work. Her ideas come from within. Her ideas come flowing out and she usually hasn’t decided the theme beforehand. Her work is often related to nature preservation, supernatural beings and the connection between the man and the nature.
